Is your waterproofing compliant with Australian Standards?
Yes. Every wet area is waterproofed to AS 3740-2021 (waterproofing of domestic wet areas), and external balconies to AS 4654.2. You receive a certificate of compliance with every job.
What standard is your tiling installed to?
All tiling follows AS 3958.1, the Australian guide to the installation of ceramic tiles, including correct falls to floor wastes and appropriate movement joints.
Do you really quote for free?
Yes. Site visits and quotes are free anywhere in Perth metro, with no obligation to proceed.
How quickly will you get back to me?
Usually the same business day. Written quotes typically follow within 48 hours of the site visit.
How long does a full bathroom renovation take?
Most bathrooms run 2 to 3 weeks from strip-out to final silicone. Membrane curing times required by AS 3740 and tile availability are the usual variables.
Are you a registered builder?
Yes. Build Gurus Pty Ltd is a registered building contractor, BC106236, under the Building Services (Registration) Act 2011, with Rafiullah Shujai as nominated supervisor. That means we can take on full bathroom renovations and residential builds - not just the tiling and waterproofing within them - so there is one accountable party for the whole job.

Fully licensed and insured, ABN 27 669 569 064. Insurance details are supplied with every quote.
